About Us

Founded in 1915, the Loomis Chaffee Log is the official student newspaper of The Loomis Chaffee School. It is published during the school year by an Editorial Board of twenty students and is distributed, free of charge, to all members of the Loomis Chaffee community. Our Mission and Standards are as follows:

The Log seeks to unify and connect the Loomis Chaffee community by publishing relevant and timely stories, promoting awareness, piquing interest, and inspiring debate.

The Log is not to publish anything libelous, obscene, tasteless or detrimental to the immediate health of the Loomis Chaffee community.

The Log is to focus primarily on its audience on the Loomis Chaffee campus.
